    The thing is back …
The thing is back in the day rap was mainly underground music, so in order to sell anything you had to be lyrically dope and creative. Now that rap has become a mainstream genre the only thing artists focus on is catchy hooks and beats, basically ringtone songs. And ya unless people stop gobbling up that , its just gonna keep on coming.

royalsteven You hit it on the head 100%
Half the rappers out here now have people writing songs for them based on how they look. Where back in the day it was pure talent.

I think one of the …
I think one of the main reasons that mc’s/rapper’s are weak today is that they got less to compain about. Kids is spoiled, rapper’s easily go platinum, even ringtones. Back then you be happy you go gold. So easy money makes them lazy, lessens focus and creativity. So basically for a new rap age to appear, the people got to make a huge change and society has to give the right example.

eh the Illuminati are vile blueblood royals like Rothschilds, Rockefellars, Windsors, Al Gore & Pike etc who rule secret societies including Freemasonry. Their agenda: force-vaccinate many with toxic swine flu vaccines, WW3, implement internet 2 & Codex Alimentarius then stage an alien invasion to get a fascist world government with us chipped. Support Oracle Broadcasting, Dr. Deagle and Stewart Swerdlow!

    Man, everybody …
Man, everybody saying Hip Hop is dead. This right here is still alive. My is 15 years old and I bump this . Not everybody in my generation listens to that Soulja Boy/Weezy “music.” Hip Hop is WAY more than music. Its a representation. Hopefully, it’ll come around. If not, we still have like this that masters laid down for us. Run DMC, Rakim, KRS-One, Common, Mos Def, Grandmaster Flash, Big Daddy Kane, etc. As long as I can still listen to them, Hip Hop is still alive.
