Need cheap bed/breakfast outskirts of Paris.?
August 312009
Within short walking distance of Metro train station.
Wednesday 11th July and Thursday 12th July.
English couple-double bed required.
Under 30 Euros person.
Nice breakfast.
English or French establishment.
Ensuite if possible.
Is there some particular reason you want to stay in the outskirts of Paris?
For 50 euros you can have a double with ensuite facilites at the Hotel Tiquetonne at 6 rue Tiquetonne in the very heart of Paris.
True they don’t include breakfast but if you’re expecting anyplace in France to have bangers, fried eggs, baked beans, toast and porridge for breakfast you can pretty much forget it. The French have a light breakfast of bread, jam and cafe au lait and that’s generally it.
If you can’t endure life without a massive breakfast while in Paris then wander over to Breakfast in America ( http://www.breakfast-in-america.com/ ) for the American version of a British fry up.

you should go to maisson lafitte its in the outskirts of paris, and it’s very cheap, plus the train station is a five minute walk away from the hotel….

can you be more specific about which side of paris you would like to be? it’s a big place and there is no point in recommending somewhere in the southern suburbs if you want to be in the north.
failing that, can recommend ‘formule 1′ roadside hotels. completely characterless, but they are clean, to be found everywhere, and the room costs about 32 euros for one, two, or three people, so works out to about eight quid each if you fill it. depends on your budget, but if you want to sleep cheaply & then go somewhere else on your travels, you can’t go too far wrong.
