I am having a guest over and I would love some tips on how to make them feel right at home and be really comfortable. How do I prepare the house and the guest room/guest bathroom?

To feel welcome at someones house. Generally it is not the physical things that make them feel comfortable.
It is feeling comfortable walking around without hesitation and feeling like an intruder. In which case constantly reminding your guest to feel welcome to a drink or food generally gets the message across that they are one of the family while they are staying with you.

I don’t want to use my address of Glasgow on application forms as I think this could put employers off. I also don’t want to put the address of the guest house I am staying in at the moment as I will only be here a week.

PO Boxes are great. It’s the most anonymous way of sharing details. Basically, it’ll allow you to have a temporary postbox that is manageable. You can organise this at a local Post Office where you live in Glasgow. It costs a small fee but if you don’t want to give away your Glaswegian address it’ll compensate for it. I’m sure you’ll agree it’s worth it.

The unit is permitted as accessory living quarters. We, a group of 16 men ,are going to Varanasi this February. We want to stay and dine in Chettiar guest house there. We do not know the address ,phone numbers, room tariff,meals & tiffin rate etc.there. But, we are told that that is the best place in Varanasi to get cheapest South Indian food .
