pick one of the hostels or backpackers! they are fun to stay at because many international travelers stay there and they are cheap with all the info you need to get. try the international YHA
or the private one. check out the website

we are staying in amsterdam in February with our two adult children so we need a nice cheap place to stay mainly because i am paying for every one lol one that is close to all the attractions

I Stayed in the ibis b&b
it was very cheap, warm and comfortable with an included buffet breakfast. It was relatively cheap and dinner/lunch was available but for added cost
it was much nicer to go out for meals. It’s walking distance to Dam square which is where the palace is and you can walk along the canals from the ibis to get there. The staff were lovely and I felt so so safe.
I really couldn’t fault it- it was cheap and cheerful

I believe that they have a Travelodge in Southsea that advertises cheap rooms, however do be wary of any b&b’s that you book as parking is a premium in Southsea and you don’t want to find one without a car park.

Also try and get one nearer to the seafront as possible – but maybe think about one in Eastney, which is further away from the centre of Southsea but will be cheaper.

Once there you need to do the DDay Museam, Sealife Centre (but I think it is called something else now). The funfair and the Museam, which is really old and tacky but great fun and the Castle. Also go along to Old Portsmouth and watch the ferries come in and out and have a meal in the Spice Island pub.

The Cresta hotel on withnell road is £15 per night b+b really clean and friendly too. Lovely brekkie.

go to the tourist info office in st Peters sq, and ask them for the "book a bed ahead " scheme that they run, they will ask you where you want to go and what type of accomodation you require, they will then phone the people in the district you chose and ask them if they have any vacancies. Hey presto all done for you.
You will have to pay half at the tourist info office, and the rest to
the person suppling the accomodation.I can personally recomend this excellent service as all the rooms are checked by the English tourist board and are of a very high standard.Hope this helps you, regards Terry.

Can anyone help me, i’m looking for a cheap b&b in Brighton. I would like a double room for between £40-£50 a night in September, i’ve searched all over the internet but the cheapest is £60.

There are loads of quaint little B&Bs in Brighton that probably dont even have internet connection, let alone register on the search engines. Try the Brighton Tourist Advice Centre and they will give you the names of some family run places just off of the main roads for about £18-20 per person, per night.
Enjoy your stay, Brighton is a lovely place.

I`m thinking of taking my annual weekend away from my shop…….and going to blackpool(not too far away,as i`m leaving the wife to look after the shop this year, as she came on holiday last year),i wondering where the cheapest place to stay was

The Backpackers hotel is really good and really cheap.
It costs £15/$30 a night which is really cheap compared to other Brighton Hotels where you are looking at paying at least £60/$120 a night.

Its not the best hotel in the world but is good enough and you can spend all the money you save on other things.
