Bed and Breakfast near Dahlonega and Helen, GA

Has anyone stayed somewhere aside from hotels in Chicago? Could you suggest an inn, bed and breakfast, or hostel on the cheap? I’m mainly concerned about having a safe place to park and a clean room. A place with a shared bathroom just wouldn’t do! Something close to public transportation would be good too.
If anyone could suggest a clean, safe, cheap motel that would be great, too.
Has anyone stayed at the Lakeview Motel?

There are 3 inns owned by City Inns. I have stayed at two of them — The Willows Hotel (on Surf near Broadway and Diversey) and City Suites Hotel (on Belmont right by the El). These are both nice and less expensive than your typical hotel. Both in the Lakeview neighborhood.

My fiance and I went on a long ski weekend in southern Vermont a couple of months ago, and stayed at the Arlington inn. It is absolutely beautiful, both inside and out. It’s very scenic, and I think it’s actually an old historic mansion.

I’m pretty sure they do weddings cuz they had a bunch of wedding pictures around the main dining area. Also, there are 3 separate houses for guests to stay in, which could be really good if you have your reception in the main house, and then have everyone stay scattered around the property.

A bed & breakfast is more like ypour house growing up.Yougo to your room when you want but come down to have meals with a everyone. Hotels and motels are pretty much the same except, hotels tend to be more upscaled. Hostels are popular with travlars in Europe. Ahostel is a supervised, inexpensive lodging place for travelers, especially young travelers. An inn is a public lodging house serving food and drink to travelers.

I do linens for a bed and breakfast Inn. Many of them are high thread count and a bugger to get the wrinkles out of them when they come from the dryer. Any suggestions to make this work load easier? Thank you

Wash them in the permanent press cycle, which uses cold water for a rinse, I think. Shake out the sheet before you place it into the dryer and do not over load the dryer. Dry them on medium or low setting–not the hottest. Midway through the drying process, pull each sheet out and shake it out again. Otherwise they tend to ball up and the inner part of the ball never completely dried. Do not over dry the sheets. Once dry, let the sheets cool with the "air dry" cycle. Open the door, take ONE sheet out, and hit the button so the remaining laundry continues to spin, so that it is not lying, unfolded in the dryer collecting wrinkles. As you fold the sheet, smooth out any wrinkles.

Nothing short of ironing the sheets will provide absolutely wrinkle free result, but this comes close.
