Lots of sauces have wine in them. Bordelaise-style sauce Beef Wellington and Madeira Wine Sauce Hold on a sec. I have an old cookbook named "Cooking with Wine" from 1963. I'm looking through it now. It may provide a clue. Edit: Nope. Not much help here. I've got Beef Round in Sour Cream Gravy. A Burgundy wine & sour cream make the sauce.
