What is the best Vitamin B complex on the market?

I recently started taking vitamin B-50 complex (Life Brand), but I seem to be having an allergic reaction to it. Does anyone know what the best vitamin company is, that does not have extras (such as herbs, etc.) as fillers? I do not care what the cost is.

Also, where can I buy them?

I only want vitamin B complete. (B-1, B-2, B-3, B-6,B-12)

Thanks!
I have taken vitamin B in the past and no reactions. I can not remember the company though.

since you have taken it in the past, try to find a brand that does not have artificial colors in them. Many times, that is the issue with allergy and pill taking. My sister spent 3 trips to the ER with severe hives and allergic reaction all because the brand of Tylenol she was taking had this red dye all over the outside of the capsule.

Without comparing the ingredients in the brand you bought and others, I can’t really give a recommendation. But, I can tell you that online sites such as http://www.iherb.com will give you full label info on supplements so you can compare the ingredients and fillers to find what you are looking for. Check out the website, search for B vitamins and just peruse the listings until you find one that looks good. They carry many brands and types.

If you buy from them use coupon code KES097 for an extra $5 off your first time order. (not affiliated, just were I research and buy)

Well, if you had an allergic reaction to it, you might be allergic to one of the B Vitamins, not one of the "other ingredients". It doesn’t seem normal, but there are people who are allergic to the basic vitamins (even Vitamin C, which is really tough to avoid) and I’m actually allergic to Zinc. It really threw me for a loop when I found out what it was for sure, but I realized that anyone can be allergic to anything at any time.

Aside from seeing an allergist, the only way to find out which one it is would be to try each of the 11 B Vitamins separately and I would give at least a week between each of them to best narrow it down.
As far as the "best brands", there are many higher quality companies out there that are readily available and well priced… just make sure the company has a good rating with either the GMP (Good Manufacturing Practices) or USP (U.S. Pharmacopoeia), as those are the main quality assurance organizations (USP is for the U.S., GMP is for the U.S. and worldwide).
Good luck and I hope I helped!

The B-Complex that I use and recommend can be purchased on line at http://www.shaklee.net/mary_norwood/product/BComplex. It contains no artificial colors, flavors, sweeteners, fillers, or preservatives.

I take a Super Sublingual (dissolves under your tongue) B-12. Just like getting a shot of B-12. Helps with mental focus, clarity and concentration. I love it. The company is called TriVita. Here is the link, select shop and then medical conditions under ways to shop – find this under mood enhancement.
